This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining smart home systems for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and experience in sales, business development, or account management within the technology or B2B sales sectors. As a key part of our team, you will drive business growth through territory management, lead generation, and product demonstrations, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and solutions tailored to their needs. Responsibilities Install, configure, and troubleshoot smart home systems including security, automation, lighting, and entertainment devices. Conduct product demos to educate clients on features and benefits of smart home solutions. Develop new business opportunities through outside sales efforts such as cold calling and lead generation. Manage existing accounts by providing ongoing support, upselling additional products or services, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Engage in territory management by identifying potential clients within assigned regions and expanding market presence. Utilize CRM software like Salesforce to track sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups. Collaborate with management on sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and product launches. Negotiate contracts and close sales with both residential clients and B2B partners. Provide technical support during installation and post-installation to ensure optimal system performance. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, new products, and competitive landscape. Requirements Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the technology or retail sectors. Strong background in management, business development, account management, or territory management preferred. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM tools for lead tracking and customer relationship management. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships. Ability to demonstrate products effectively through product demos and presentations. Strong analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend suitable solutions. Experience in cold calling, direct sales, inside sales, or retail sales is advantageous. Knowledge of smart home technology systems including automation platforms is preferred but not required. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to generating leads and expanding territory coverage.
