Job Description

Our client is an innovative Swiss industrial company specialized in the design and manufacturing of high-precision CNC machines and automation systems . As part of the development of its U.S. operations, the company is accelerating its presence on the market and is now looking to recruit its first Technical Sales Representative to drive business growth across the Midwest. Candidates should be based within driving distance of Indianapolis (regular travel to the office required), and able to travel frequently across the region (50/60%).
MISSIONS
As part of the launch of U.S. operations, and in close collaboration with the U.S. Director, you will act as the main point of contact for clients, leading sales efforts while working closely with engineering teams based in Europe for technical validation and project execution. With a strong business orientation and a hunter mindset , you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities through active prospecting and lead generation across the Midwest (medical, aerospace, and automotive sectors). You will manage the full sales cycle , from initial contact to closing (client meetings, needs qualification, proposals, and negotiations), while building strong, long-term relationships with clients and positioning yourself as a trusted partner . Finally, you will contribute to the structuring of the U.S. market by identifying potential partners, distributors, and growth opportunities. PROFILE You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation , or a related field, and have 2 to 5 years of experience in technical sales or industrial environment . You have hands-on experience with CNC machines or machining environments (mandatory), either through direct sales of CNC equipment or technical/production experience. You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value. You are autonomous , proactive , result-oriented , and comfortable working in a field-based and entrepreneurial environment. You are fluent in English ; French is a plus.
