Leading provider of specialty materials seeks an experienced Technical Service Specialist to evaluate and execute service agreements in crude & vacuum column and hydro processing units.

Activities:

• Troubleshoot crude & vacuum column commercial operations remotely or onsite.
• Assist with engineering reviews to revamp Design Basis, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, Model Reviews, Hazard and Operability Studies, and similar.
• Provide technical perspective for sales team, recommendations on guarantees, and analysis of commercial operating experience.
• Create operating procedures and process improvement techniques.
• Serve as technical expert for crude & vacuum column design and operations.
• Oversee guarantee resolution and coordinate problem investigation.
• Mentor associate technical service representatives, engineers, and scientists.

Experience Sought:

• Bachelors in Chemical Engineering or similar field.
• 7+ years of Technical Service experience with Design Engineering, Process Operations, Engineering, or similar in the Refining industry.
• Knowledge of Hydro Processing Applications.
• Familiarity with Design and Operation of Crude & Vacuum columns.
