Immediately Job Description The Athol-Royalston Regional School District technology department is hiring for a temporary, full-time position to fill the role of a current Technology Assistant who is on leave. This position is expected to expire in December 2026, but may continue thereafter for a period. The duties of the Technology Assistant are as follows: Hardware troubleshooting of PCs, Chromebooks, and miscellaneous technology throughout the school building Should have experience with Software and SaaS troubleshooting and basic setup of the following systems Clever Savvas SWIS Study Island ST Math myLexia ChromeBook Management Inventory of all devices Triage of hardware and software issues Diagnosis and Replacement of basic components including: Display Keyboard Trackpad Battery GoGuardian Student Learning and Safety Setup and maintenance Training Routine management Chromebook cart maintenance and power adapter wiring IT office organization--sorting of cables, adapters, monitors, parts, etc. Must be able to lift heavy objects like 1500 watt backup batteries Tracking all of the above duties in a Google Sheet for organizational purposes Student and staff email and other account creation Must have experience in completing management tasks in Google Admin Console Must have experience with Aspen School Information System Event technology setup such as professional development, school committee meetings, assemblies, etc. Copier troubleshooting and basic maintenance Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Hours are more flexible until the start of school in late August.
