Bedford, Massachusetts job type: Contract salary: $30.00 - 35.50 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Plan and execute Process Analytical Technology (PAT) integrations for upstream cell culture experiments, drawing meaningful results to keep projects on schedule.

Operate bioreactors and maintain rigorous aseptic techniques while managing routine experimental workflows.

Apply core scientific and engineering principles to solve technical problems of routine scope and complexity.

Deliver clear technical reports, data presentations, and application notes to support ongoing product development milestones.

Stay current on bioprocessing trends, performance expectations, and technical advancements through literature review and industry conferences.
qualifications:
Required:
B.S. in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.

Hands-on laboratory experience planning, executing, and documenting cell culture experiments.

Demonstrated experience operating bioreactors and maintaining strict aseptic techniques.

Solid analytical, data analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.

Physical capability to perform heavy lifting (over 20 lbs) and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Flexibility to support experimental schedules on weekends when necessary.
Preferred:
Direct biopharmaceutical industry experience in a product development setting. #LI-AO1 skills: Cell Biology, Biology, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
