Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Technical Sales Specialist and become a vital driver of innovative technology solutions! In this role, you will combine your technical expertise in weld qualification testing with your sales acumen to identify customer needs, provide strategic guidance, and deliver the materials and mechanical testing solutions to achieve customer qualification requirements. Your energetic approach will inspire confidence and foster long-lasting client relationships, helping organizations interpret welding code requirements and achieve necessary qualifications to keep their welding activities on schedule. Responsibilities Processing sales orders and quotes for materials, test equipment and mechanical testing services offered by the company. Collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide solutions that align with their weld qualification requirements. Lead pre-sales activities by providing technical consultations to support sales negotiations. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of technical proposals while maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams. Assist in developing sales strategies by analyzing market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities. Provide ongoing technical support during the sales cycle, addressing client questions about material composition, equipment operation and mechanical testing process. Experience Proven experience in technical sales or pre-sales roles within welding industry sector. Strong knowledge of the welding qualification requirements defined in welding codes such as AWS, ASME and API. Hands-on experience with various welding processes;
SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW
is highly desirable. Practical understanding of mechanical testing means and methods is highly desirable. Proficiency in computer operation skills and Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Demonstrated ability to manage high volume sales cycle from inception to completion. Excellent analysis skills to evaluate client needs and recommend optimal technical solutions aligned with their infrastructure. Pay:
$58,718.50 - $70,714.76 per year
