Job Description

Technical Associate - Research & Development Marlborough, MA 12 months To do:
  • Associate investigator focusing on panel and wafer-level processing techniques, comfortable with exploring advanced/non-standard methods for unique applications
  • Adept at hands-on lab work, creative thinking, problem solving in a unique and fast-paced laboratory environment
  • Assume responsibility for execution of project workflows, such as laminations, coatings, lithography and cure techniques, as well as thermal and mechanical analysis.
  • Support additional prototyping and optimization development initiatives relevant to strategic goals as they arrive.
  • Create, maintain, and leverage close relationships with internal analytical collaborators to drive characterization and performance data collection and analysis.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate research to team members of varying technical backgrounds
  • Demonstrate ability to work well on cross-functional and global teams with personnel at multiple levels, including Asia-based customers and commercial points of contact.
  • Maintain appropriate focus on personal and process safety, product integrity, and environmental stewardship Quals--
  • B.S. or Associate degree in a technical or scientific field related to chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, biological science, with industrial lab experience with clean room + wafer level processing methods & tools.
  • 1-2 years hands-on industrial experience in semiconductor lab or similar environment
  • Familiarity with material characterization, wafer-level metrology and/or thin film analysis
  • Experience with thermal and mechanical analysis tools and techniques is a plus
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven team player
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
