We're seeking a Technology Support Technician to provide technical support and technology services to children and adults with and without disabilities across Massachusetts. In this role, you'll help clients successfully access and use technology through troubleshooting, equipment setup, training, and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients seeking technical assistance via phone, email, and other communication channels. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, operating system, and mobile device issues. Conduct technology assessments and support individuals in building technology skills. Set up, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair technology equipment and software. Provide community-based technology support in homes, schools, workplaces, and other community settings. Deliver basic technology training and support successful implementation of equipment and software. Prepare, package, ship, and track technology equipment for clients and partner organizations. Maintain equipment inventory records and assist with inventory audits and procurement activities. Complete timely and accurate documentation, reports, and billing records in accordance with agency and funding requirements. Participate in special projects and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
What We're Looking For:
Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience providing technical support and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and problem solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Experience with help desk or ticket management systems (preferred). Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms (preferred). Experience working with individuals with disabilities (preferred). Experience supporting assistive technology, education technology, or community-based technology programs (preferred).
Physical Requirements:
Must be willing and able to travel to/between various work locations including private homes and community settings Ability to frequently lift and carry equipment weighing up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
