In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing electronic fingerprinting and background checks using live scan technology. Your expertise will ensure accurate, efficient, and secure processing of fingerprint submissions for a variety of clients, including healthcare providers, licensing agencies, and security organizations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to community safety and compliance initiatives while working in a self-paced, professional environment. Responsibilities Operate live scan fingerprinting equipment with precision and professionalism to capture high-quality biometric data Guide clients through the fingerprinting process, explaining procedures clearly and answering questions confidently Verify client identification and ensure all necessary documentation is complete before processing Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with privacy laws and organizational policies Conduct routine equipment checks, troubleshoot technical issues promptly, and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed Accurately record all transactions, update client records, and generate detailed reports of each session Adhere to all safety protocols, health guidelines, and quality standards during every interaction Requirements Prior experience with live scan fingerprinting technology or biometric data collection is highly preferred Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity for operating specialized equipment Exceptional communication skills to assist clients effectively and explain procedures clearly Ability to work efficiently in a self-paced environment while maintaining accuracy under pressure Knowledge of privacy regulations related to biometric data collection and handling is a plus High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in fingerprinting or security are advantageous Flexibility to work various shifts based on scheduled client appointments, including evenings or weekends if required Join us as a Live Scan Technician and play a crucial role in ensuring secure, reliable background screening services!
