Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent training and experience in related area, with progression towards a Bachelor's degree. Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years experience with technology systems, including Windows and iOS, operating systems, networking, voice and video systems. Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft System Center, JAMF Casper Suite for Mac OS and IOS, Microsoft Active Directory, and PowerSchool Student Information System preferred. Demonstrated experience in leadership of technical personnel as well as project management. Must have strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral, written and listening skills. Must be able to organize, track and lead multiple assignments, understand dependencies between assignments, and organize workload. Must be willing to learn new software and concepts.
Description:
Provide leadership and management on technology projects, including scheduling, tracking and organizing multiple assignments. Allocate and direct resources, both district personnel and outside vendors, to accomplish project tasks. Responsible for resolving issues during the course of projects, escalating to management when appropriate. Communicate project status to department personnel and management. Plan and facilitate team meetings for both large projects and ongoing technology operational issues. Analyze and evaluate new or proposed hardware and software for compatibility with existing UCS systems. Contribute to the development, maintenance, and enforcement of district technology standards. Maintain district documentation and inventory for all technology assets and systems. This includes adding and removing devices from the asset tracking system. Assist in maintaining accruate asses records for all district technology equipment. Ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely manner. Provide leadership to district technicians and analysts, including travel to district buildings to address technology problems. Other duties as assigned by Technology Leadership.
