X-ray diffraction is a multidisciplinary area that draws on materials science, engineering, physics, chemistry and mathematics. We are looking for technical sales specialists with strong scientific or engineering backgrounds to join our sales team. We are looking to fill roles in Residual Stress Measurement by X-ray Diffraction, Powder X-ray Diffraction, and Single-Crystal Diffraction. Responsibilities Duties will include sales quoting and CRM management Market development Training of customers. Assist with installation of instrumentation, and support of both existing and new customers. Representing Proto at trade shows and key conferences related to sub areas of X-ray diffraction including Powder XRD, Single-Crystal XRD, Residual Stress Measurement. Travel within the United States and overseas is expected up to 20% of the time. Mandatory Qualifications University or College degree in materials science, geology, engineering, chemistry, physics, or a related field is required. Experience with analytical X-ray instruments such as X-ray diffraction or X-ray fluorescence is an asset. Excellent communication skills in English, self-motivated individuals that have a passion for science and learning are preferred.
