Job Description

Company Description Client is a contract product development organization focused on innovative solutions for the medical device industry. We develop products from first concepts through pilot manufacturing for a variety of applications including structural heart, endoscopy, ocular implants and neurovascular devices. Our team is our greatest asset and we provide a flexible and stimulating work environment. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Research and Development Technician, located in Maple Grove, MN. The Research and Development Technician will be responsible for building prototypes, conducting experiments, supporting product development, maintaining laboratory equipment, and troubleshooting technical issues. Primary focus will be on development of composite, braided shafts and steerable devices used in various applications throughout the body. Qualifications Strong prototyping skills with hands on approach Stellar work ethic, self-driven with a strong desire to learn Analytical Skills to interpret test results and solve complex problems Intermediate level of SolidWorks knowledge Experience with 3D printing preferred Experience with the design and manufacturing of braided shafts and steerable devices is strongly preferred Ability to identify and resolve problems through effective Troubleshooting Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow protocols Associate Technical degree in a scientific field is preferred Previous experience in a lab or R&D environment is essential Benefits Heath Insurance Life Insurance Short Term Disability Insurance Paid Holidays 401
