Job Description

The New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP is seeking to hire stellar mid-level and senior level associates for our Mergers & Acquisitions practice, focusing on acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and joint ventures, private equity funds, and financial institutions. Candidates should have ample experience leading on diligence and drafting ancillary agreements as well as familiarity with all other aspects of a transaction, including experience drafting primary deal documents and interfacing with the client. The ideal candidates should have 3-6 years of M&A experience, be admitted to the New York Bar, and have excellent credentials.
Associate Salary:
The base salary for associate positions is $225,000 to $435,000, depending upon class year. We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination based on any category protected by law.
