In this role, you will actively engage with potential and existing suppliers, leveraging your negotiation, business development, and sales expertise to establish strong partnerships. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will be vital in identifying new opportunities, managing key accounts, and delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs. Duties Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and acquire new utility suppliers through warm calling, networking, and market analysis Build and nurture long-term relationships with utility providers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and ongoing collaboration Lead negotiations on pricing, contract terms, and service agreements to secure mutually beneficial deals Conduct thorough market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the utilities sector Collaborate with marketing teams to promote our services and enhance supplier engagement through targeted campaigns Manage existing accounts proactively by providing exceptional account management support, resolving issues promptly, and identifying upselling opportunities Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track interactions, sales pipelines, and performance metrics for continuous improvement Experience Proven experience in B2B sales within the utilities or technology sales sectors, with a focus on business development and account management Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing complex deals effectively Familiarity with marketing strategies that support sales growth in a competitive environment Demonstrated ability to conduct analysis for strategic decision-making and opportunity identification Experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms for sales tracking and customer relationship management Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse stakeholders at all levels Previous experience in technical sales or working closely with engineering or technical teams is highly desirable Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, motivate others, and drive results through proactive outreach efforts Felony Friendly Join us as a Utilities Suppliers Sales Representative and become a vital part of our mission to connect innovative utility solutions with forward-thinking clients.
