Job Description
Granville Exempted Village School District is proud to be one of Ohio's best public school districts. We serve a population of approximately 2,500 students in grades K - 12. Successful candidates will have licensure in any content area with requisite experience in the implementation and assessment of technology integration across a school or district. The Coordinator serves as the expert in professional development, instructional modeling, and ensuring the effective use of technology to meet pedagogical goals. This role leads the strategy, implementation, and assessment of technology integration across the district. The Coordinator serves as the expert in professional development, instructional modeling, and ensuring the effective use of technology to meet pedagogical goals.Minimum Qualifications:
Professional Educator License in any licensure area with demonstrated experience in implementing instructional frameworks (e.g., SAMR, TPACK) to guide technology use across grades and subject areas. Experience in a variety of technologies including how to integrate those technologies into an educational setting. Skilled in Microsoft Operating System, Microsoft Office Suite, or other District Approved Software Ability to identify computer components and accessories such as cable types, ports, etc Understanding of basic technical terms Ability to communicate the use and needs of instructional technology with staff and administration. Meets all mandated health requirements. A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment. Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies. Keeps current with technology and other workplace innovations that support job functions. Effective organizational, planning, and project management skills.Essential Functions:

Lead the strategic planning, implementation, and ongoing assessment of all district-wide technology integration initiatives by developing and implementing technology integration strategies aligned with specific District curriculum and instructional programs goals and serving on district committees related to curriculum, digital learning, and instructional improvement.Program Compliance:
Actively maintain and ensure district compliance with all technology-related regulations and legal mandates, including those specific to student data privacy and safety (ORC 3319.325)Asset Coordination:
Coordinate the deployment, use, and management of technology assets across the district's various project centers and departments.Innovation and Testing:
Research, test, and experiment with new and alternative technologies for classroom consideration, reporting on potential efficacy and feasibility.Data Analysis:
Analyze data on the effectiveness of technology initiatives, providing assessment reports and recommendations for program adjustments.Instruction:
Assist in developing and implementing instructional frameworks (e.g., SAMR, TPACK) to guide technology use across grades and subject areas. Assist in the development of district-wide technology policies, guidelines, and professional learning plans.Professional Development and Coaching PD Design and Delivery:
Design, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive staff professional development (PD) programs focused on effective technology integration, digital citizenship, and online safety.Coaching and Support:
Provide expert, sustained coaching and support to teachers on incorporating instructional technology into daily lessons and curriculum including supporting implementation and use of learning management systems (LMS) and other instructional platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Schoology, MagicSchool, etc.).Classroom Modeling:
Directly model effective technology use and instructional strategies with students in the classroom to demonstrate best practices and build teacher capacity.Operational Support and General Duties STAR Program Facilitation:
Provide faculty mentorship and operational support for the STAR (Student Technology Assistance & Repair) Program , helping to manage student workflow and ensure quality control in Chromebook repair processes.Educational Software Support:
Serve as a subject matter expert for educational software, providing advanced assistance and troubleshooting support for classroom technology issues. Tier 1Help Desk Assistance:
Provide immediate, hands-on support by assisting with the resolution of basic technology help desk tickets , particularly during peak demand or in the absence of other support staff.General Technology Support:
Assist with general technology setup, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks for classroom and staff technologies as needed to ensure instructional continuity.Other Duties:
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Technology or Administration.Abilities Required:

To promote safety, employees are expected to exercise caution and comply with safety regulations and district policies/procedures when involved in the following situations/conditions. Exposure to adverse weather conditions and seasonal temperature extremes. Exposure to air-borne particulates, chemical irritants, combustible materials, electrical hazards, equipment vibrations, noises, and odors. Exposure to blood-borne pathogens and communicable diseases. Interactions with aggressive, disruptive, and/or unruly individuals. Operating and/or riding in a vehicle. Lifting, carrying, and moving work-related supplies/equipment. Traveling to meetings and work assignments. Using a computer keyboard and monitor for prolonged periods. Working at various heights, in confined spaces, and/or in variable/diminished lighting. Working in proximity to moving mechanical parts.Performance Evaluation:
