Job Description

Job Summary Our client, a leading energy and utility provider, is seeking an Endur Technical Lead to join their team. This senior technical leader will serve as a subject-matter expert for Openlink Endur and lead the architecture, design, implementation, upgrade, and enhancement of complex energy-trading solutions.
Key Details:
Contract position from October 1, 2026 through July 30, 2027 Remote position; candidate location must be included at the top of the resume Supporting Oakland, California organization Core Responsibilities Design application architecture for large, multi-module Endur projects and enterprise solutions Translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs Evaluate solution options and recommend approaches that maximize business value within established timelines and budgets Create system models, technical specifications, diagrams, implementation plans, and design documentation Lead and support Endur implementations, upgrades, enhancements, configurations, and production solutions Develop object-oriented system designs and partner with programming and development teams throughout delivery Participate in the creation, validation, and execution of test cases while ensuring solutions meet documentation and quality standards Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience 15+ years of Endur implementation and energy-trading technology experience 3+ years of experience supporting gas and power customers and U.S. gas, power, greenhouse gas, or resource-adequacy trading and settlement lifecycles 2+ years of specialization within Front Office, Middle Office, or Back Office functions Hands-on experience with Openlink Endur V25 or higher Completion of at least one end-to-end Endur implementation Strong knowledge of U.S. power and gas trading, operations, settlements, accounting, and compliance lifecycles Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) Hands-on Endur experience with deal modeling, C-motion, reference data, risk valuation, invoicing, settlements, reporting, P&L, exposure reporting, and simulations Familiarity with ISO power markets, including CAISO, ERCOT, MISO, and PJM Understanding of physical electricity contracts, swaps, financial energy transactions, variable-volume renewable offtake agreements, load agreements, FTRs, and bilateral and exchange trades Proficiency with MS SQL and/or PL/SQL and an object-oriented language such as C#/.NET, Java, or C++ Experience gathering and analyzing requirements for enterprise-system configuration and customization Experience with Endur JVS and Open Components Utility, electric, gas, commodities-trading, or energy-industry experience Key Competencies & Behaviors Strong technical leadership and subject-matter credibility Ability to translate complex business needs into practical technical solutions Highly self-motivated with a strong focus on delivery, accuracy, and quality Effective communicator capable of presenting ideas to business and technical stakeholders Strong planning, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:
The approximate pay range for this position is between $84.00 and $120.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good-faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, background, knowledge, skills, and location.
