Here's what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires: The Practice Engineer is a technically strong, analytically focused, and operationally minded contributor responsible for scaling training, leveling, documentation, and project execution frameworks across Amazon Robotics deployment programs (ARDE, MSP, Retrofit, GSS, Vulcan US/EU). This role blends technical documentation expertise, project engineering, data-driven process improvement, and cross-functional leadership. The Practice Engineer helps standardize workforce development, training, project setup, and operational governance to ensure TEKsystems delivers consistent, high-quality support across global robotics initiatives. Key Responsibilities Training Development, Documentation & Knowledge Systems
- Build and maintain detailed technical documentation, SOPs, installation guides, workflow diagrams, and site-readiness materials.
- Conduct field observations and engage Subject Matter Experts to convert complex technical processes into clear, scalable training curriculum.
- Develop structured training modules, assessments, and certification paths.
- Perform time studies and workflow evaluations to refine training content. Workforce Leveling & Career Progression Standards
- Define leveling criteria, competencies, and progression paths for CDA → CDE3.
- Build rubrics, skill matrices, and objective performance indicators.
- Partner with Engagement Managers and Program Leads to align leveling with field expectations. Solutioning, Project Setup & Technical Enablement
- Assist in solution design, scoping, and project setup across robotics programs.
- Conduct readiness checks and feasibility assessments.
- Support new technology pilots with hands-on validation and documentation updates.
- Establish repeatable project-launch playbooks. Process Improvement, Data Analysis & Operational Governance
- Perform analyses to identify inefficiencies in deployment workflows.
- Use time studies, KPI dashboards, and operational insights to refine delivery models.
- Maintain governance over SOPs, best practices, and QA standards. Recruiting Support & Job Description Standardization
- Develop standardized job descriptions across all role tiers.
- Participate in interview loops for technical and leadership candidates.
- Provide technical clarity to recruiting partners.
EU:
Germany & UK)- Adapt training, leveling, and onboarding processes for EU regions.
- Create localized content as needed.
- Collaborate with EU leadership on workforce modeling and training replication. Cross-Functional Leadership & Practice Enablement
- Equip field teams with knowledge, tools, and support.
- Facilitate mentorship, enablement sessions, and training QA.
- Ensure consistent execution across technologies and regions. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in technical or related field.
- Experience in robotics, mechanical systems, mechatronics, or deployments.
- Strong proficiency in technical writing and documentation.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Amazon Robotics deployments.
- Field engineering or test engineering experience.
- Background in supply chain, manufacturing, or deployment logistics.
- Experience training or mentoring junior engineers/technicians. Success Indicators
