Job Summary Apex is a machinery tools dealer specializing in laser cutting machines, press brakes, and other industrial equipment. We are seeking a highly self-motivated and ambitious Sales Representative to join our team in a full-time remote role based in the Houston area. This position offers the flexibility of working from home while actively engaging with clients, identifying business opportunities, providing technical solutions, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have strong initiative, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships while collaborating effectively with internal teams. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients Analyze local market trends and report insights to support sales strategy improvements Conduct regular cold calling and prospect outreach to generate leads Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and deal closure Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance goals Provide technical product support, troubleshoot customer issues, and recommend appropriate machinery or solutions Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support trade shows, conferences, and promotional events Conduct periodic on-site client visits to strengthen relationships and deliver technical presentations Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or technical roles within the machine tool or manufacturing industry Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse clients Bilingual required: English and Spanish Comfortable with route planning and field visits, including occasional travel to customer sites Proficiency in CRM systems and experience preparing reports and presentations Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment across multiple time zones Flexibility to work occasional non-standard hours when required Experience coordinating cross-functional workflows is a plus
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
