The organization has invested heavily in the past seven years in state-of-the-art equipment, facilities, and transportation. We support sales reps with fast turnaround in quotes, samples and excellent customer service. Cumberland has a 4-person dedicated Design Team with CAD capabilities and two cutting tables to turn out samples quickly. It is a part of AICC, the Association of Independent Corrugate Converters which we constantly interact with to develop best practices. Cumberland operates in a strategically located facility between major city hubs, delivering innovative packaging solutions, large-scale fulfillment services, and supply chain efficiencies to a diverse customer base. Cumberland Container has undergone a $20 million CapEx program investing in advanced equipment and facilities expansion. The company is serious about growth. The Boss The Sales Manager has been with Cumberland for 42 years. Known for being straightforward, results-driven, and highly supportive, this leader values hard work and rewards performance. The Position This is a remote sales position. After the initial training period, which depends on prior experience, the salesperson is expected to spend at least 80% of their time in the field. As a Sales Representative, you will:
- Hunt for new customers. This is the #1 priority.
- Maintain and reinforce relationships with current customers.
- Work closely with design for quotes and samples. Same day or less turn around for quotes.
- Coordinate with customer service to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Develop and manage customer relationships across assigned areas including the Greater Nashville and Knoxville areas.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in industrial and commercial packaging markets.
- Research and vet prospective customers using available tools and AI. Essential Functions (Other duties may be assigned):
- Prospect and close new business within assigned territory.
- Provide consultative solutions to meet customer packaging and fulfillment needs. Qualifications & Skills
- Good communication skills to work with both customers and internally.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in packaging, corrugated, or related industries.
- Reasonable capability with computer software and willingness to use AI to vet customers and areas.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage sales territory and meet revenue targets.
- Existing book of business or industry contacts is a plus.
- Self-motivated and results oriented.
- Reasonable experience with computers, as well as Customer Service software (Pipedrive) AI, and a willingness to learn Amtech Software. Training will be provided. Work Environment
- Based in Middle Tennessee. The salesperson will be assigned an area close to their home in Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga or Southern KY.

Base Draw:
$30,000 - $50,000 annually depending on experience and book of business.Commission:
3% on collected receivables (uncapped). First 6 months guaranteed commission.Earnings Range:
$100,000+ annually based on sales commissions. No commission cap. Sell more, earn more.Benefits:
