Job Summary We're seeking a skilled Technical Associate to support and manage our tech development initiatives during a 3-week part-time trial. This role focuses on overseeing tech projects, including development roadmaps, pitch decks, and integrations (e.g., e-commerce platforms, inventory systems, or app features). If it's a great fit, you'll have the chance to transition to a full-time CTO or officer position with equity potential in our high-growth company. Ideal for ambitious tech pros looking for a short-term gig with long-term upside in the vaping/e-liquid space.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage tech development projects, including creating and refining tech roadmaps, pitch decks for investors/partners, and implementation plans. Collaborate with our team to integrate and optimize tools like e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify), CRM systems, or custom apps for customer engagement and product tracking. Identify opportunities for tech innovation in the vaping industry, with AI integrations or supply chain automation. Provide technical guidance on scalable solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals for rapid growth. During the 3-week trial: Deliver quick wins, like a prototype deck or system audit, to demonstrate impact. Post-trial (if fit): Lead tech strategy as CTO, building out a team and driving high-growth initiatives.

Requirements:

Proven experience in tech management or development (e.g., 3+ years as a developer, project manager, or in a startup tech role).

Strong skills in relevant technologies:

Proficiency in programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript), cloud services (e.g., AWS), and tools for decks/roadmaps (e.g., Figma, Google Workspace, or Jira). Familiarity with consumer tech, e-commerce, or regulated industries (vaping/tobacco experience a plus but not required). Excellent communication and organizational skills to handle decks, stakeholder presentations, and cross-team collaboration. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment—self-starter mindset essential for the trial period. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Must be 21+ due to industry regulations; authorized to work in the US.
