Description Job Description This role is dedicated to promoting ISCO's products to specification writers, engineers, and project stakeholders ensuring our solutions are included in project specifications. The Technical Specifications role will combine technical expertise, sales acumen, and exceptional relationship-building skills to drive product specifications and increase market presence. Key Responsibilities Relationship Building Develop and maintain strong relationships with specification writers, engineers, architects, and key decision-makers.
Act as the primary point of contact for technical support and product information. Technical Support Provide technical information, product demonstrations, and presentations to specification writers and engineers.
Support the development of project specifications by offering expert advice and product data.
Collaborate with internal team members to provide technical support and product training to potential customers, to enhance understanding and usage of our solutions.
Ensure products meet necessary compliance standards and provide required documentation to specification writers and engineers.
Work closely with the product development team to communicate market needs and feedback. Sales and Marketing Develop and execute strategies to promote the inclusion of our products in project specifications.
Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts, ISCO's Research Team, and industry networking.
Assist in the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve growth targets.
Collaborate with sales and marketing to create technical documentation, case studies, and other promotional materials.
Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the market.
Utilize
PIPELINE
to track sales activities, customer interactions, and project statuses. Required Experience/Skills Proven experience in specification sales, technical sales, or a related role. Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and explain complex products and solutions. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team. Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
