The Opportunity This position works out of our Dallas, TX location in the Core Laboratory , Diagnostics Division. We're empowering smarter medical and economic decision-making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott's diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people. The Associate Scientist (Technical Product Development) will support on market products.
What You'll Work On Technical Expertise & Problem Solving:
Troubleshoots product performance issues; identifies root causes and supports resolution of technical problems related to on-market products.
Project Support :
Contributes to planning and execution of product support activities; provides input to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Compliance & Safety:
Participates in routine laboratory maintenance activities and ensures adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Documentation:
Accurately documents activities in accordance with established procedures and quality requirements.
Quality System:
Supports implementation and maintenance of the quality system to ensure continued compliance and effectiveness for on-market product support.
Continuous Improvement :
Recommends follow-up activities, testing, or process improvements to enhance product performance and reliability in the field.
Data Communication :
Prepares and presents findings, trends, and recommendations to cross-functional teams. Required Qualifications Bachelors in life or physical science, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. 2-4 year of related work experience. Preferred Qualifications Lab Experience The base pay for this position is $55,300.00 - $110,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
