Job Description Insight Global is seeking a qualified Computer Field Technician in support of one of our healthcare clients in Virginia Beach VA. This candidate will be supporting the annual computer replacement initiative. The day?to?day will include:
- Replace and deploy end-of-life computers for both clinical and non-clinical users, including remote workers.
- Image, configure, and test computers to ensure full functionality, including print services and user-specific requirements.
- Utilize Intune for device enrollment, policy deployment, application delivery, and compliance monitoring.
- Manage Active Directory (AD) and Intune groups for device and user assignments as needed.
- Ensure accurate LWS (Lifecycle Workstation Services) record management and proper documentation of device actions.
- Maintain up-to-date asset inventory, tracking all computer equipment from deployment through disposal.
- Follow established procedures for equipment asset disposal, ensuring compliance with data security protocols.
- Provide clear communication and customer service to end users during equipment replacement activities. Required Skills & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years' experience in IT support or hardware deployment roles preferred.
- Proficiency in Windows imaging, Microsoft Intune, and Active Directory, ServiceNow
- Experience with inventory tracking systems and asset management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively across clinical and non-clinical settings and with remote user populations.
