Job Title:

Fermentation Technician Responsibilities Follow specific work instructions and batch records to scale up microbes. Perform media and microbial solution preparation. Use large-scale fermenting instrumentation and equipment. Apply aseptic technique daily. Conduct sterilization, inoculation, and product recovery as required. Track total product from start to finish, including recovery, total yield, and quantities per each processing step. Perform simple testing on in-process and finished product samples using instruments such as GC/HPLC and associated HP ChemStation software, Karl-Fisher, optical density, pH, and microscope for counts/possible contamination. Work with CIP System for sanitation and processing. Document production, analytical, and quality data. Utilize the SAP system. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
