Job Summary Appointment setters perform the primary role in creating leads for Agents and General Managers. They are constantly engaged to support the sales function of the Company (Corp) making first contact with prospective customers or clients. Part of the job is to also function as telemarketers by scheduling and closing the appointment day and time over the phone. Appointments setters work in call center environments, on an hourly basis, in a non-exempt status. Job Description Duties/Responsibilities [The following reflects duties for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time for business reasons.] Incoming Calls
  • this includes taking incoming calls from prospective clients or customers and setting appointments for agents to meet with each individual/couple. Outgoing Calls
  • making outgoing calls by way of provided lists (people who express interest through websites, email, direct mail coupons or other approved marketing programs). Data Entry
  • Coding or entering data as appointments are made throughout the day.
All appointment setters' main duty is to call a predetermined number of prospective clients and introduce them to products or services being offered by the company. Their main objective is to set up a meeting or call between the potential customer and company agents. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Able to pass essential background check requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills since they are working mainly over the phone as the first contact of clients. It is very important that Appointment setters portray a pleasant, professional and ethical image of the Company.
