About SALT. Optometry Located at Via Lido Plaza in the heart of Newport Beach's Lido Isle, this location blends luxury eyewear retail with a professional optometry practice. Our patients enjoy curated eyewear, comprehensive eye exam services, and a seamless experience that combines style and eye care.

This environment requires a polished hospitality mindset with strong multitasking and administrative skills. Key Responsibilities Client Experience & Sales Deliver exceptional hospitality and personalized service Style clients in premium eyewear and recommend lens solutions based on lifestyle needs Build lasting customer relationships and repeat business Meet individual and team sales goals Handle transactions professionally and accurately Optical Support Interpret prescriptions Assist with frame and lens selection Perform adjustments, fittings, and minor repairs Coordinate eyewear orders and follow-up communication Maintain product knowledge across multiple eyewear brands Front Desk / Administrative Support Answer phones and respond to email inquiries Schedule appointments and manage calendars Maintain organized client records Support day-to-day store operations Additional Responsibilities (Practice Environment) Verify insurance benefits and eligibility Quote patient responsibility and coverage Assist with patient flow and pre-testing Coordinate communication between doctor, staff, and patients Operations Opening / closing procedures Inventory accuracy and merchandising Maintain clean, polished store presentation Reliable attendance and punctuality Qualifications 1-2 years of optical, eyewear, retail, or related experience preferred ABO certification preferred but not required Willingness to learn and pursue certification/licensure encouraged Strong sales ability with a hospitality mindset Professional communication skills (phone, email, in person) Organized and able to multitask efficiently Honest, dependable, punctual, and resourceful Full weekend availability required Passion for fashion, eyewear, wellness, or premium service environments

Schedule & CompensationPart-Time:
