The Sandwich Maker will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience through quality food and exceptional service. Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications, ensuring freshness and quality. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Operate cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling when appropriate. Follow food handling guidelines to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and sales tracking. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or retail environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling practices. Basic math skills for cash register operations and inventory management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Willingness to learn about upselling techniques to enhance sales performance. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with food preparation.
