Your role is vital in maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and efficiency, all while working in a vibrant team dedicated to quality and service excellence. Duties Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and wraps according to established recipes and customer preferences. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and providing excellent service to enhance their experience. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions. Upsell menu items and suggest add-ons to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all food preparation areas, including proper food handling and storage practices. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety. Assist with food inventory management, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations as needed. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles within quick service or fast-food restaurants is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for sales and change. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and work efficiently in a team environment. Experience working in a café, retail grocery store, or similar food industry setting will be considered a plus. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
