Responsibilities Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches, salads, and other menu items with precision and care, adhering to food safety standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking accurate orders, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with health regulations. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality. Assist with food preparation tasks including slicing, packaging, and stocking ingredients to support smooth restaurant operations. Support team members through bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a clean environment for both customers and staff. Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants, cafés, or grocery stores is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong skills in food handling, sanitation practices, and adhering to safety standards are essential. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy are required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in cashiering or serving roles within the food industry will be highly valued.
