Sanitation Team Member

This individual must ensure that the cleanliness and sanitation standards are carried out daily throughout the greenhouse operation, housing units, Packhouse, lunchrooms, washrooms, offices, etc. By providing the highest cleanliness within our facility ensures we meet our customer's demands under the Food Safety guidelines thus reinforcing our customer relationships.

Attend all training requirements:

Food Safety, Sanitation, Health & Safety and ensure that compliance is adhered to always - company policies, rules and regulations. Wear appropriate PPE as required (Personal Protective Equipment). Only operate equipment once you have been properly trained: ex: floor scrubber, vacuums, dispensing stations, etc. Requirement of some lifting and equipment break-down. Complete and maintain Health and Food Safety records as required. Teamwork required, follow directions, offer support and make suggestions when necessary. Report any damages or issues immediately so that repairs can be administered (greenhouse, housing units, washroom facilities, etc). Provides back-up for other Sanitation positions Other assigned duties as required from time to time. Self-motivated, positive attitude, work independently.

• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must follow all company policies and procedures.
• WHMIS certification an asset, willingness to train.
• Follow all Food Safety & Health & Safety policies.

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. May work near moving equipment. Position requires repetitive motion, standing, walking, twisting, squatting, stooping and bending on a regular basis. Limited crawling and kneeling Sitting for meetings when necessary Varying temperatures, where the temperature averages 70°F in the greenhouses and background noise approaches 70 dcbs. And refrigeration temperatures 52°F Must be able to work around bees. High School diploma or equivalent.
