For more information, please visit www.ayrwellness.com. Job Summary The responsibility of the Sanitation Tech will be to keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. The Sanitation Tech will perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and ceilings, cleaning, dusting, and removing trash. This position will work closely with the quality department in maintaining a sanitary environment for product safety. This position may be responsible for operating forklifts, and floor scrubbing equipment. Requires excellent observation and auditing skills as well as a good understanding of GMPs. Duties and Responsibilities Plan, organize and complete sanitation functions ensuring that environmental procedures are being followedFollow SOPs related to sanitationMaintain an environment that is sanitary, attractive and orderly conditionMaintain the Master Sanitation SchedulePerform daily concentration checks on cleaning chemicalsPerform daily hygiene checksConfer with management and production personnel on sanitation problems and recommend changes in equipment or work practices to improve sanitation standards.
