Toowoomba Regional Council is seeking a Scheduling Support Officer to play a key role in integrating asset management processes into Construction & Maintenance Central's business operations. You'll support the planning and scheduling of infrastructure maintenance, operational activities, and capital works that keep our region moving. About the role As a Scheduling Support Officer, you'll help keep our infrastructure programs running efficiently and on schedule. You'll assist with planning and coordinating operational and capital works, manage the flow of tasks through construction and maintenance systems, and ensure project information is accurate and up to date. You'll work hands‑on with the digital tools our teams rely on, supporting staff across multiple depots to use them confidently and effectively. You'll also contribute to improving the systems and processes that support the Branch, while providing essential administrative, reporting, costing and procurement support. This role is highly collaborative — you'll work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, staying organised, adaptable and tech‑savvy in a fast‑paced operational environment. You'll bring A combination of administrative experience, relevant qualifications and demonstrated competence to perform the duties of the role. Certificate III in Business Administration (desirable). Current C Class Driver's Licence . Knowledge of — or a strong interest in — infrastructure maintenance, construction processes and related technology. Understanding of and commitment to Council's Organisational Value and Behaviour of Accountability .
