Server (Health Center)

DESCRIPTION POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for performing established Steps of Service to ensure that each resident and guest receives both gracious and efficient service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Perform established Steps of Service to ensure that each resident and guest receives gracious and efficient service. Practice good time management skills to ensure efficient table turnover. Handles and serves food in accordance with all HAACP guidelines and sanitation standards. May operate cash register and point of sale software. Other roles and responsible as assigned by the Dining Room Manager. This position is an essential worker position. It is required candidates are available to work during inclement weather and other high priority events.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. No experience necessary. High school diploma or GED - preferred Ability to work independently without constant supervision. Interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team. Desire to work with an older population in an Assisted Living and Long-Term Care facility. Ability to push a cart full of trays/meals to the different floors and residence areas.
