School Age Summer Teacher

We are seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic, and dependable School-Age Teacher to join our summer program team. The ideal candidate is positive, flexible, and passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children. Experience working in a licensed childcare setting is preferred. Job Responsibilities Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers through respectful and encouraging communication Provide engaging, age-appropriate activities and experiences for school-age children Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at the center and during daily field trips Safely transport children to and from field trips in a childcare van Plan and lead fun, interactive activities that promote learning, creativity, and teamwork Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating professionalism, good judgment, and adherence to program policies and procedures Assist with classroom routines and daily care responsibilities as needed Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or GED required ECE credentials preferred Current Infant/Child CPR & First Aid certification preferred (may be completed within 1 month of hire)

HIV/AIDS

Awareness training required (may be completed after hire) Negative TB test required prior to employment STARS Basic Training required (may be completed within 3 months of hire) Must pass a background check prior to employment Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Ability to drive a van transporting up to 13 children

Position Details Part-Time School-Age Teacher/Floater:

4-5 hours per day, June 15 - August 24 Full-Time School-Age Teacher (Closer): June 15 - August 24 We are looking for team members who enjoy working with children, creating memorable summer experiences, and contributing to a positive and supportive childcare environment.
