Christian Private School Aide — Job Description A Christian school aide supports teachers, students, and school staff in creating a safe, organized, faith-based learning environment. The aide assists with classroom activities, student supervision, and daily school operations while modeling Christian values and positive behavior. Responsibilities Assist teachers with classroom instruction and activities Help prepare lessons, learning materials, and classroom displays Supervise students during lunch, recess, chapel, dismissal, and field trips Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety Reinforce school rules, positive behavior, and Christian character development Assist students with assignments and daily routines Communicate respectfully with parents, teachers, and staff Support school events, programs, and church-related activities when needed Model Christ-like attitudes, kindness, patience, and professionalism Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Experience working with children preferred Ability to work in a team environment Strong communication and classroom management skills CPR/First Aid certification may be preferred Must support the school's Christian mission and values Skills Needed Patience and compassion Dependability and flexibility Organization and multitasking Positive attitude and professionalism Ability to encourage and guide children Typical Work Environment Elementary or preschool classrooms Before- and after-school care programs Chapel services, playgrounds, cafeterias, and school events Faith-based educational setting focused on academic and spiritual growth Many Christian schools also expect aides to demonstrate Christian character and support the school's statement of faith.

Pay:

$12.00 - $15.00 per hour
