Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) working full-time for the entire school year. In this contract position, you'll collaborate closely with educational teams and provide vital therapy services, helping students achieve greater independence and success in their learning environments.
Ideal candidates will possess:
Valid certification and credentials as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Experience providing occupational therapy support within school environments Knowledge of IEP processes and ability to contribute to student goal setting Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families Collaborative spirit and adaptability in dynamic school settings Capacity to organize and manage schedules across multiple classrooms or sites Role responsibilities include: Delivering occupational therapy interventions to students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Supporting the development and implementation of individualized therapy plans Monitoring student progress and documenting outcomes in accordance with school procedures Working with teachers and staff to incorporate therapeutic activities into the classroom Assisting in the creation of adaptive strategies and modifications to foster student participation Helping students develop or improve fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills This full-time contract extends throughout the school year, offering stability and the chance to build consistent relationships with students and school staff. You'll play an essential role in enabling student participation, growth, and educational engagement.
