Key Qualifications:

Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience providing therapy services in school-based settings preferred Knowledge of pediatric and adolescent therapy principles Ability to follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families Flexibility to adapt therapeutic interventions to a variety of learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy to students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Assist with developing and implementing therapy plans aligned with student goals Document session notes, maintain accurate records, and track student progress Collaborate with educational staff, participating in IEP meetings when needed Utilize creative therapeutic strategies to promote student independence and participation in school activities Adapt materials and tasks to support students' access to the curriculum
