Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role serving preschool and school-age students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) delivering itinerant early intervention services. This contract opportunity focuses on providing high-quality support in Carbon and Lehigh Counties across various school settings, working alongside a dynamic team to make a positive impact in young children's educational journeys.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active Pennsylvania COTA licensure and NBCOT certification required Valid PPID number Previous experience with preschool or K-12 populations preferred Willing to travel between sites within Carbon and Lehigh Counties Adaptable to changing assignments and caseloads throughout the school year Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in the Early Intervention program and, as needed, school-age settings Travel to designated sites to support a diverse caseload of students with varying needs Develop and implement intervention plans in collaboration with supervising occupational therapists and educational teams Document student progress, maintain compliance, and support IEP and IFSP goals Engage positively with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary staff to enhance student learning and participation Remain flexible and responsive to schedule or setting changes as assignment needs evolve
