Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Make a real impact in students' lives by supporting their growth and participation through skilled occupational therapy services. This contract opportunity is perfect for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) passionate about helping children achieve their educational and developmental goals.
Key Qualifications:
Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license Experience providing occupational therapy services in school settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop rapport with students and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress monitoring
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist registered occupational therapists in delivering therapy sessions tailored to students' needs Implement individualized plans to promote skills such as fine motor coordination, sensory regulation, and functional independence Document student performance and communicate progress to supervising therapists and educational staff Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students' success in the school environment Support assessments and contribute to IEP meetings as requested This role offers the chance to work in a collaborative, supportive atmosphere focused on student achievement and well-being.
