Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding role supporting students in their communication development as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a school setting. This contract opportunity offers part-time hours, with a schedule of two days per week starting in August. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active SLPA license and eligibility to practice in the state Previous experience working in a school environment preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and staff Strong communication and organization skills Positive, encouraging attitude and a genuine commitment to supporting student success
Key Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of IEP goals and therapy plans under direction of a supervising SLP Conduct individual or small group speech and language activities in accordance with assigned plans Accurately document student progress and maintain session notes Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions as needed Communicate with caregivers and staff, providing updates and supporting generalization of therapy goals within the school setting
