Job Description
Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist, supporting students in an educational setting near Franklin, WI. This full-time position is set to cover a leave of absence through June 10th, offering a valuable chance to make an immediate impact on students' growth and well-being within a collaborative school team. Qualifications and Experience:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Wisconsin Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within school-based environments Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educational staff, students, and families Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans that support students' academic and functional goals Professional, flexible, and organized, with a commitment to student development Previous onboarding a plus, enabling a prompt startResponsibilities:
Assess students to determine therapy needs and appropriate interventions Design and deliver school-based physical therapy services tailored to each student's IEP Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists to foster an inclusive environment Document all progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with state and school regulations Provide consultative support and training for classroom staff on mobility and accessibility techniques Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and planning sessionsBenefits and Perks:
