Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position offers the opportunity to apply your physical therapy expertise in a dynamic school environment for the 2026/2027 school year. Located in Ashland, WI, the role focuses on providing essential physical therapy services to support the developmental and functional needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct physical therapy assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions tailored to students' educational goals. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy strategies within the school setting. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans to optimize outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of supportive educational plans.
Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with experience or interest in school-based therapy. Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy principles and educational system requirements. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative school environment. Commitment to supporting the physical development and school participation of students.
