Qualifications and Experience:

Current, active Physical Therapist license in California is required Proper credentials to practice in a school setting Previous experience in pediatric or school-based PT preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to the changing needs of students and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams

Role Overview:

Provide physical therapy services to students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs) Complete assessments and document progress efficiently in compliance with school and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers, aides, and family members to integrate therapy goals within the classroom setting Contribute to IEP meetings, sharing expertise and recommendations for accommodations, modifications, and equipment needs Deliver direct therapy and consultative services for approximately 10-11 hours weekly, with scheduling options spread across 1.5 days to fit your availability This part-time opportunity allows you to make a real difference with a manageable workload and scheduling flexibility to support your work-life balance.
