Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact this upcoming school year by using your physical therapy expertise to support students' wellbeing and success in a dynamic educational environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about helping young learners achieve their fullest physical potential in a supportive, collaborative setting. You will play a vital role in assessing students' physical abilities, creating individualized therapy plans, and collaborating closely with teachers, families, and school teams. Qualifications & Experience:
Valid and active Physical Therapist (PT) license Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Effective communication and interpersonal collaboration skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team A commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments for students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning Provide direct and consultative therapy services Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with local and state regulations Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student progress
