Key Qualifications:

Active Professional Educator's License in Illinois with Certified School Nurse (CSN) Endorsement (required) Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Illinois Experience conducting hearing and vision screenings Strong background in updating and managing IEPs and individual health plans Outstanding communication, leadership, and organizational abilities Demonstrated commitment to student advocacy and inclusion

Primary Responsibilities:

Serve as the district's lead Certified School Nurse, overseeing all health service programs Conduct, document, and follow up on student hearing and vision screenings Collaborate with staff and families to regularly review and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and health plans Coordinate with a skilled RN team to reinforce district-wide health standards and responses Provide day-to-day and emergency medical care for students during school hours Champion preventative care initiatives and health education to foster a safe, healthy school environment If you are ready to influence the health policies of an entire district, while making a direct difference in students' lives, this contract role is your ideal next step.
