Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact on students' lives as a School Psychologist for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year! This onsite contract opportunity focuses on supporting students in grades 3-5 at the intermediate level, with daily hours from 8:20 to 3:35. You'll provide expertise in psychological assessment, consultation, and intervention, while also managing LEA (Local Education Agency) responsibilities. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid state licensure and certification as a School Psychologist Previous experience working with students in elementary or intermediate grades is highly valued Strong understanding of the special education process and compliance with state/federal regulations Demonstrated ability to handle LEA responsibilities and IEP participation Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, families, and students Comfortable working onsite in a school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver psychological services including assessment, intervention, and counseling for students in grades 3-5 Serve as LEA representative for IEP meetings and ensure adherence to all required procedures and documentation Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student emotional and academic growth Support the development and implementation of positive behavioral interventions and academic plans Maintain accurate, confidential records and provide detailed reports as needed Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and safe school climate Imagine building trust and fostering resilience among young learners while working closely with a dedicated school team.
