Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist during the Extended School Year program. This specialized opportunity runs from June 8th to June 25th, with a focus on providing essential speech therapy services to children from birth through age 5. Your schedule will offer a work-life balance, with morning hours from Monday through Thursday. As part of the critical early childhood education team, you'll contribute your expertise in speech-language pathology to help students build foundational communication skills. You may also have the opportunity to conduct evaluations for children ages birth to two, ensuring timely intervention for those who need extra support.
Desired Qualifications:
Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathologist licensure (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY) Experience in school-based or pediatric settings, preferably with children birth to age 5 Ability to conduct assessments, including birth-to-two evaluations Strong interpersonal and communication skills Collaborative mindset and flexibility within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech, language, and communication therapy services for the ESY program Conduct evaluations for children ages birth to two as needed Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to student needs Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student development Maintain documentation and progress reports in line with school and program requirements Participate in meetings and contribute to a positive, child-centered atmosphere If you're passionate about making a real impact in the lives of young children and appreciate flexible, morning-only hours, this is your chance to shine.
