Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a vibrant educational setting as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting 4th through 6th grade students from September to November 2026. This contract position offers the chance to work 37.5 hours per week, providing critical intervention and therapy in a lively school environment. Your expertise will help students communicate with confidence and reach their full academic potential. Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to create a positive impact during a pivotal time in their development.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current CCC-SLP or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) State licensure for speech-language pathology (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Experience working in a school setting or with elementary-aged children preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, teachers, and families Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Familiarity with goal setting, progress monitoring, and state/federal documentation requirements
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in 4th through 6th grades Conduct assessments, interpret results, and recommend appropriate interventions Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's needs Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and caregivers to support student success Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and legal requirements Participate in IEP meetings and serve as a resource to educational teams This engaging contract offers a rewarding opportunity to support young learners at a crucial stage.
