This travel nursing assignment places you in a premier cardiovascular unit caring for patients undergoing a wide range of high-acuity procedures, from PTCA and advanced stents to TAVR and bi-ventricular pacemaker placement. You'll be immersed in a unit recognized for its excellence by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and contribute to a hospital named among the Top 50 Heart Hospitals in the U.S. This role not only enhances your clinical expertise but also exposes you to innovative leadership styles and interdisciplinary collaboration, expanding your professional perspective and strengthening your resume.
Schedule/Hours:
This is a travel assignment; specific shifts and schedules will be discussed during the hiring process.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid RN license, eligible in Michigan Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience, preferably with strong cardiovascular background BLS and ACLS certification required Solid clinical judgment, organizational skills, and reliability—strict attendance policy applies Experience caring for post-op cardiac patients and those undergoing advanced cardiology procedures
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions Monitor post-operative cardiac patients and manage devices such as bi-ventricular pacemakers Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in national clinical research trials Ensure top performance in quality, safety, and patient satisfaction
