Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing Speech-Language Pathology services in a supportive school environment near North Haven, CT. This position invites dedicated professionals eager to make a difference in students' academic, social, and communication growth during the new school year.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility Previous experience within school settings is highly preferred Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of students with speech, language, or communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs and goals Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy, both individually and in small groups Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' progress Maintain accurate records of sessions, assessments, and progress monitoring Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and other relevant school activities Enjoy the rewarding experience of working within a collaborative team that values your expertise and commitment to student success.
